The Friends of All Saints Church Longstanton

A very warm WELCOME to our website   Our website was last updated on 01 June 2008.   We have two very special events on in June that you really do need to know about. The first is a classical concert given in support of the Milton Hospice on Saturday 21st June 2008 and the second event is the eighth annual Flower Arranging Competition will be held on Saturday 28th June.   It is open to children of both Longstanton and Over and all of the arrangements will be used to decorate All Saints’ Church, Longstanton, for the Songs of Praise service that will be held the next day at 6.00 p.m.   Please go to our Calendar of Key Events & Dates page for more details about these and other fund raising events we have planned for the coming year.     All Saint's Church Longstanton Welcome and thank you for visiting our website.    The Friends of All Saints Church Longstanton are a registered Charity, formed to raise money for the refurbishment, restoration and adornment of All Saints’ Church Longstanton.   Not only do we want All Saints’ Church, to be a place of Christian Worship, we also want it to be a focal point for our village community. A place that we can all use and enjoy.   We feel that a building of such historical interest in our midst needs to treasured and looked after. One way of ensuring this is to make it available not only on Sundays but every day. It needs to be a place where we can hold social, cultural, musical and educational events and activities that meet the needs of our wider community.   To raise the funds to make these changes and things happen, the Friends organise a number of community events throughout the year.   To see what we have planned for the coming year, click onto our Calendar of Key Events & Dates page.   If you would like to help us on our fund raising journey by making a financial or practical donation or by becoming a member of the Friends committee, please contact one of the Friends.
