'100' Club

The Friends of All Saints Church Longstanton have established a '100 Club' to help raise funds for the church re-ordering project. The '100 Club' is a fund-raising initiative which invites members to purchase one or more numbers to be entered into a lottery.

For a small amount each month club members are entered into the monthly draw with the chance of winning some money back. All the money, besides the prizes, will go directly in to the re-ordering project fund. The draw will take place each month.

To obtain a registration form to join the ‘100 Club', please contact Louise Gamon at; louise.gamon@gmail.com or phone 07429317803 or e-mail foascl@btinternet.com

All Saints' Church, Longstanton - 100 Club Rules

The objects of the Club shall be to raise funds for The Friends of All Saints' Church, Longstanton (FOASC). FOASC is a charity set up to advance the Christian religion by maintaining, repairing, restoring, preserving, improving, beautifying and reconstructing for the benefit of the public the fabric of the Church of All Saints, Longstanton, its monuments, fixtures, fittings, furniture, stained glass, ornaments and other chattels and its churchyard. In this way the church building can be made available for use by the wider community.

The 100 Club will be run under the supervision of FOASC Committee who will also administer the Club.

The club is open to all Residents of the Parish of Longstanton, Over, Willingham and the surrounding area, their family and friends.

Members must be 16 or over.

Members must fill in an application form.

Entry to monthly draws will be by subscription of £2 per month per number, paid in advance. (£24 per number per annum).

Members may have more than one number. The 100 Club shall not be limited to 100 members.

Subsequent to the first draw in June 2016 additional new members will be entered for the draw in the calendar month that follows receipt of the first monthly payment. Responsibility for ensuring that the subscription has been paid rests with the individual member, not the FOASC Committee.

The draw will be monthly - generally at the end of the church service held on the first Sunday of each month.
Winners will be contacted personally by 100 Club administrators who will make all reasonable efforts to pay or post prizes to the winners within a week of each monthly draw.

Names of winners will be posted on All Saints' Church foyer notice board, in "Not Over Long" and on the FOASC website each month after the draw.

The regular monthly prize fund will be 40% of the monthly income- there will be two prizes:-

1st prize = 25% of the monthly income (£50 if 100 members)

2nd prize = 15% of the monthly income (£30 if 100 members)

The remaining 60% will be allocated to FOASC Fund.

Registers will be kept recording the name and address of each member, the number(s) allocated to them and the subscriptions received from them.

Unless otherwise advised, a member will be deemed to have left the Club if his or her renewal of subscription remains unpaid for a period of one month.

If a winner cannot be contacted, the winnings will be placed into FOASC Funds after 6 months.

The decision of FOASC Committee shall be final in all matters requiring adjudication.

FOASC Committee shall have the power to amend or revoke these rules at their absolute discretion with such reasonable notice to the 100 Club members as is necessary.
